Business License and Permit Center internet site down
Internet services are currently down at the Department of Public Works, directly impacting the department’s Business License and Permit Center, according to a news release from Adelup.
While the Office of Technology works to resolve this issue, residents in need of processing residential commercial licenses and clearing permits should visit the center’s upper Tumon location or call 646-3104 to schedule an appointment.
Frank Lujan Jr., chief technology officer for the government, said that the problem was traced to a piece of hardware that failed. His team is working on a solution, but it’s not going to be easy because there is no replacement part on Guam, he said.
An advisory will be sent out once Internet services have been restored.
